Terms of Use
Last updated: 29 October 2026
These terms cover Battle Code Arena: the apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, and the browser version at play.battlecodearena.com. By creating an account or using the game, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Battle Code Arena.
Battle Code Arena is made by Inuvera Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us"). You can contact us at support@inuvera.com.
1. Your account
- You need an account, signed in with your email address, to play. Keep access to that email address secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
- You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you're under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to subscribe.
- One person per account. Don't share or sell accounts.
- You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (SYS › ACCOUNT › DELETE ACCOUNT). Our Privacy Policy explains what that removes.
2. The subscription
Some features come with the Battle Code Arena subscription:
- publishing vehicles to the league, and competing in it;
- the league's trial;
- the browser version.
New features may be added to the subscription over time.
Plans and price. The subscription is available monthly or yearly. The current prices are £5.99 a month or £49.99 a year in the UK. Prices in other countries are set by the App Store or Google Play in your local currency. The price is always shown before you confirm.
Free trial. If you're eligible, a new subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you're charged for the plan you chose.
Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your App Store or Google Play account is charged within 24 hours before the renewal.
Cancelling. Cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. MANAGE on the app's subscribe screen takes you there. When you cancel, the subscription stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then stops. Deleting your account or the app doesn't cancel the subscription.
Payments and refunds. All payments are made through, and handled by, Apple or Google, under their terms. Refund requests go to the store you bought from. We can't issue refunds for store purchases ourselves.
The browser version can't be bought on its own. It's included for subscribers who bought through the App Store or Google Play, signed in with the same account.
If the subscription ends: your garage and your vehicles' league records are kept, but your vehicles sit out of league rounds until you subscribe again.
3. Your vehicles and programs
- They're yours. You keep ownership of the programs and vehicles you create.
- What we need from you. To run the game, you give us permission to:
- store your vehicles and programs;
- run them in battles;
- show their results, names and replays to the players they fight.
- How long. This permission lasts as long as your vehicles are in the game, and ends when you delete them or your account. Results already shown to opponents stay in their records, without your account linked to them.
- What other players see. Other players see your published vehicles' names, ratings, results and replays, but not your programs.
4. Playing fairly
When using Battle Code Arena, you agree not to:
- give a vehicle a name that's offensive, hateful, sexual, harassing, or that impersonates someone else;
- try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around the game's servers, limits or security;
- use more than one account, or automate accounts, to gain an advantage in the league;
- try to read other players' programs or private information;
- use the game for anything unlawful.
We may rename or remove a vehicle, remove it from the league, or suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. We'll act in proportion to the problem, and tell you when we can. To report a name or a player, contact support@inuvera.com.
5. The league and the game
- Ratings, results, seasons, classes and rules are part of the game. We may change, rebalance or reset them to keep the game fair and fun.
- The league is a game of skill. There are no cash prizes, and nothing in Battle Code Arena has monetary value.
- We work to keep Battle Code Arena available, but we can't promise it'll always be available or free of faults. Battles and features that need our servers won't work while they're unavailable.
- We may change or stop features. If we ever stop the subscription's main features, we'll tell you in advance. You can cancel through your store at any time.
6. Our content
The game, its software, artwork, house vehicles, sounds and name belong to Inuvera Ltd. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for playing Battle Code Arena. Don't copy, resell or redistribute them.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Otherwise:
- We're not responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen.
- We're not responsible for losses caused by things outside our reasonable control.
- We're not responsible for losses of business or profit. Battle Code Arena is for personal, non-commercial use.
- Our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Apple and Google
If you got Battle Code Arena from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If there's a conflict between it and these terms, these terms apply between you and us.
Apple and Google aren't parties to these terms. They aren't responsible for the game, or for support or claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
If you got the game from Google Play, Google Play's terms of service also apply to your purchase.
9. Ending these terms
You can stop using Battle Code Arena and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. If we close an account without good reason, we'll refund the unused part of any subscription period, where the store allows it.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the game or the law changes. We'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you don't accept a change, you can cancel your subscription and delete your account.
11. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you can also bring a claim where you live, and you keep the protection of your local consumer laws.
